Re: CoTASA : Lingua italiana disponibile
LUPPOLO has translated the language file to Italian, mille grazie a lui !
It will be included in the next release.
Until then, the files are available on my Google Drive:

Extract to the Lang folder in the CoTASA installation folder and change language to IT in the CoTASA.ini file

Re: CoTASA V2.2.1 (VNE alarm, horizon, etc)
Is there a Portuguese version already ?
What exactly get's translated ? The manuals, or does it also apply to the interface and screen displays, command line dialogues, etc... ?
l mightntry a PT translation, if you find it useful.

Re: CoTASA V2.2.1 (VNE alarm, horizon, etc)
As far as I know, there is no Portuguese version yet
For the time being, the translation only concerns the warning and error messages, see page 4 of the manualWhat exactly get's translated ? The manuals, or does it also apply to the interface and screen displays, command line dialogues, etc... ?

Following the release of Hangar Update 17, I have updated the glider data for CoTASA, they are available for download
http://condorutill.pagesperso-orange.fr/
No need to update CoTASA
Search for "Glider data" below the CoTASA icon, download the file and unzip it in the Settings folder

Re: CoTASA V2.2.1 (VNE alarm, horizon, etc)
Thank you Marc for the Polar data for Hangar Update18. The date for Cotasa Update reads 12/12/2020 instead of 23/01/2021, I was confused earlier when I first checked on your site before reading this post here. Your work on the glider polar and Cotasa is very much appreciated. Thank you again for all your contributions.
Re: CoTASA V2.2.1 (VNE alarm, horizon, etc)
That is exactly why I have developed a new webpage with updating tools, I won't forget to update something like that anymore.
The old page is going to be discarded in a few days

Re: CoTASA V2.2.1 (VNE alarm, horizon, etc)
As more and more online competitions set limits on start speed (the French Soaring Federation, FFVP, enforced that in the first e-series last December), I will add the display of ground speed in CoTASA in the next version.
Possible extra development options are:
- blinking display if over a given value ?
- speed limit adjustable in flight ?
- if yes: that would require two extra keys ; as that resource is getting scarce, on could use the same keys as the VNE alarm, SHIFTed ?
- sound alarm ?
- if yes: same sounds as VNE or add an extra one ?
Besides that, as the number of parameters has grown and keeps on growing, I started thinking about adding a data input window in CoTASA which would allow to set most parameters all at once (it would be useful for other applications)
Your comments are welcome

Re: CoTASA V2.2.1 (VNE alarm, horizon, etc)
Adding it to CoTASA is pointless if there are no penalties in Condor.
And if they were implemented, you can use XCSoar for it... Then you also learn it (with XCSoar) the way you would use it in real life. So to use Condor as a training tool.
Don't get me wrong. I favor max startspeed limits as they are there IRL. Check my wishlist... But don't overdo CoTASA.

Re: CoTASA V2.2.1 (VNE alarm, horizon, etc)
Yesterday one of my friends had a strange error while flying online. The Condor began to freeze for a few seconds.
The task manager showed several Kotasa processes and each of them was using the processor by 15%.
How is this possible?

From time to time CoTASA fails to exit properly and enters an infinite loop.
If he had several processes this means that he started CoTASA many times since the last reboot.
For the time being, the workaround is to kill those processes or to reboot.
