[SOLVED] Weird line of trees between patch boarders

Post by Eugene Williams » Thu Jun 11, 2020 10:46 pm

Has anybody seen this? A line of trees between patch boarders, even though my forest map bmp files are all black along it's boarderlines. I've attached my forest map bmp files for anyone who is willing to help me out here.

I'd appreciate any help, thanks!

I figured it out myself. It turned out to be an issue with Photoshop. I had been copying my forest mask layer to a fresh file and that somehow introduced an invisible black line on the boarders. I instead saved my original tiff file at the original resolution of 16384 x 16384 to a bmp file. I then resized it and now the trees are gone! The root cause was probably my old Photoshop version (CS5).
