Happend to me yesterday
How does one report to the server admin?
Re: Midair Crash - minor change maybe?
In the early days of Condor v.1 there was an ignorant young man (I won't mention his name - he knows who he is) who disliked being criticised, and was determined to win every task, no matter what. He took to crashing into me on tasks. He also used to fly well above Vne before the days of the 'flutter' feature being introduced in order to win tasks and it took some finding out that this was how he was doing it. I hope this isn't him at it again. Gliding RL is a sport in which cheating is difficult. Only a few have ever attempted it and were eventually detected. It was possible in the days when we scratched a smoked metal foil in a barograph, or used radio when it was banned. But neither of these cheat sare possible now.
I really don't see how anyone can 'accidentally' crash into you on a ridge. Circling in a gaggle maybe, but not in straight and level flight.

Nice to think I am not forgotten. I've had a busy year - colon cancer out of the blue - fixed, moving house now complete - so I hope to return to Condor later this year. I'm still struggling with the purchase of a new dedicated computer in spite of all the helpful advice from fellow Condorites. Frankly I'm terrified of having to re-learn Windows, and not being really computer savvy I need someone to hold my hand. Our local computer outfits are hopeless - they wrecked a brand new Mac Mini trying to install Bootcamp and I am thoroughly discouraged at the moment.
However, thanks for the kind thoughts

To wet your appetite for Condor and I know your interest in Scotland. A complete rework will be available soon.
To keep on the thread I hope you don't have any mid air's.

Very nice!
Where is that? Firth of Clyde looking west?

Changed my mind. Sound of Sleat looking west. Sailed up it often.
Re: Midair Crash - minor change maybe?
Close, Loch Carron North East of Plockton. Not many mid airs there.
Here is a view looking South down the Sound of Sleat from Loch Alsh, still not many midairs.

Even nicer. There is a very nice Scottish Dance called Macdonald of Sleat - done many times in demos. Well OT by now.
The only Scottish club I have flown from is Portmoak. Have you a nice view of the Bishop?

Re: Midair Crash - minor change maybe?
What is the effect/purpose of doing this?
Re: Midair Crash - minor change maybe?
Old school barogram logging before GPS loggers were invented. There was a drum with smoked metal foil where a stilus scratched a trace of the altitude on it. Other versions used a paper sheet on the drum and a pen.
