Thank You Sooo Much for the 1-26! :D
And very realistically modeled. One detail that could be tweaked in the future is to switch the color of the ball knobs.
The tow line release ball knob on Schweizer' are red.
Mind you, I'm NOT complaining

Please do not tweak this! I was the National Safety Officer for the Soaring Association of Canada for 3 years; during that time, two clubs lost ASK-21 front canopies to pilots from the Cadet program (Schweizer 2-33 pilots), who were briefed that the release was yellow, and still jettisoned the front canopy when asked to pull the release! Current CS22 standard attached. I noted the 1-26 release colour and was happy that at least it would make them ask why it was not red.

Edit: Interesting that they say the trim is longitudinal - I imagine they want its actuation to be, but it acts about the lateral or transverse axis. At least they spell "colour" correctly!

really? Do you have a photo? And there is no excuse for a club not to paint those yellow.

I’ve seen red, black, and yellow releases on 1-26

The design decision was to make it the correct color for modern planes so pilots who learn in condor do not make mistakes when in real planes

I concede that the release should be yellow for all the reasons mentioned.
I guess I'm a bit of a stickler for tiny details.

I believe they mean trimming for longitudinal stability. Pitch does pivot around the lateral axis, and roll pivots around the longitudinal axis. idk, maybe I've had it backwards all these years.

I googled it, and its still confusing. longitudinal axis is indeed the axis from nose to tail and thus the roll axis. To quote wikipedia:
"The roll axis (or longitudinal axis[4]) has its origin at the center of gravity and is directed forward, parallel to the fuselage reference line. Motion about this axis is called roll."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aircraft_ ... xis_(roll)

however when it comes to stability, they seem to refer to planes (as in surfaces) rather than axis and to quote wikipedia:

"In flight dynamics, longitudinal static stability is the stability of an aircraft in the longitudinal, or pitching, plane under steady flight conditions"

"longitudinal stability of an aircraft refers to the aircraft's stability in the pitching plane"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Longitudi ... _stability

it would have simplified things on that list of color codes for different controls if they just called it elevator trim or pitch trim.

Spoiler handle should be blue according to that list. Also, I believe the trim T-handle on the right is factory chromed.

The handles are in the Cockpit.dds texture. Change them if it bothers you, but as you can see there is no 100% correct answer
