Post by BenFest » Thu Mar 01, 2018 5:07 pm

Hey guys,

I've made a Leonidas Chronograph Bund Flyback Watch for Condor.
Leonidas Condor.JPG
A very rare watch in real life, so I decided to keep it rare in Condor aswell. So this is a limited Edition of this beautiful watch. I will drop 10 copies of it here. But if you want to sign in, you will need to do something of course.
_________________________________________________________________________________

Post your favourite story, impression, screenshot, flight or moment in your whole Condor career. (Can be v1 aswell) Furthermore, please post why you want to have this watch.
_________________________________________________________________________________

The 10. best posts will win the Leonidas watch and I will add them to the certification table. You have time until 11/03/2018 20:00h UTC.
You can only post one post. The first post entered will count.

After we've dropped the 10 copies. You can only win this, if your are a good Condor v2 Racer and win some competitions

It was a beautiful and perfect wave day in Peru. After some struggles, I finally made it to where only the jets roam. Having satisfied my craving for altitude, I decided to take a long way home. Having also forgotten how late I took off, and that Peru's daylight is short in June, I found myself racing against the setting sun. Well, long story short, I ended up landing after sunset. With only a vague outline of an airport building and the turnpoint marker, I made a surprisingly smooth landing in nearly complete darkness. 8)

I have a replay file as proof, but the new forum doesn't allow .rpy files as attachment.

Edit: You can download it here if you care:

After a poor race result, it feels nice with a chunk of fiberglass.

Apparently I was informed that I had won several competitions during the last 10 years on Condor.
I was not aware because I never look at the overall standings!
That's my story

So I was thinking of waiting for Christmas next year to ask Santa Claus, not a new watch, but a new, prettier and more image-less PDA with XCsoar or Lk8000 embedded in it.

Thanks Ben.

I guess my story started 18 months or so back, when I got asked to help with condor 2, loads of lovely flights and a zillion screenshots I couldnt share for obvious reasons. My favourite moment was when Uros finally said he was happy with the Blanik skin and material settings I was working on for V2 ;p

One image I created over a year ago that I love, that was dropped from the site concept including the original V2 logo and byline before I did the orange version you see now.

With the new patch you need to overwrite the watch.c3d again. If you do not have the file anymore send me a PM
