Somehow I managed to forget that the first race is on thursday. So how was it, did I miss anything? :D

Hi Mikko,

yes, U missed an interesting task, medium thermal, cloudbase not to high and tricky in the mountains (very low wind).
During the finalglide some ridges were standing in the way ;-)
Looking foreward for the next race.

Hello,

I had a nasty issue during the second competition day, so I've got a question: is it possible to change my flight status from "crash" to "outlanding" (Competition number: MNZ). Some background update process minimized my condor to the start bar and I wasn't able to restore it. As you can see in my flightrack I was in thermal and there wasn't any crash risk when the event occured.

Best regards,
Mateusz Zakrzewski

Don't agree at all..
making the task hard with NO PDA is fine, thermals is fine but do not use this thermal settings in czech republic.. on second leg I was @ 600m @ turnpoint and suddendly no clouds anymore, all died and nothing started .. landed out again.. this time not my mistake but weathers imo

Well done to the finishers was hard for sure.

Sometimes Less is More! While staying in a hotel - luckily time was not a factor - with notebook & mouse available only, I was forced to create my own briefing sheet.

Well, worked out quite good!

Well, I don't have anything against a good old "survival trip", but IMHO the combination of weak/narrow and low activity thermals in the Czech- and Slovakian sceneries, is not a lucky combination. :(
I arrived with plenty of altitude at the second turnpoint, but ran out of height because of the low (=none) thermal activity at that time, and got trapped with nowhere to go.

I landed out, and on top of that I got a "crashed" message on the last meter. :(

Thermals was Strong/Narrow and low activity. I thougt it was a fun task, and the 1:st task with speeds under 100kph in a loooong time for me.

Yes, LG, you're right, setting was at strong.
So I'll rephrase my above remark: ....../narrow and low activity thermals in the Czech- and Slovakian sceneries, is not a lucky combination.
At least not on my rig.

I'm not complaining, just frustrated about the unforeseen "crash".
