Where are the flight tracks???

Post by rict » Thu Nov 16, 2006 11:22 pm

Simple question...where exactly are the flight track files on this forum?

I see people writing things like, "here you go, this is a great track...", but I don't see any actual files. Have they all been deleted or put somewhere else?

I see some older ones in posts that have the little paperclip attachment icon thingy.

once upon a time there were many more than there are now.
With the advent of "swiss races", "speedbattle" and other dedicated servers, it seems the popularity of track sharing has dwindled.

Ahhh....the little paperclip thing, yup, I see that on some of the posts.

"...it seems the popularity of track sharing has dwindled"
Well, that would explain it.

Thanks.

I think that one is great, going to use that if the owner doesn't mind. I remember a short while ago, standing over a few kids who were programming in basic, (The old sinclair) When the lad reading the code out said "Dog ears Dog ears" i wondered what he was talking about. then i realised what they were. "" put a little face under them and you have Dog ears.

Well thanks anyway, but those are flight TASKS, not flight tracks.

Yes, the main purpose of the site is about tasks, but if you select a task and go to "best times", you can then download the tracks (if available).
