Started off airborne at 6575' msl low point of 6470' and topped out at 23688' for a height gain of 17218'. Wind from the NNE over the Alps with stunning wave low down, 8 kts over the airfield but more patchy at altitude.
Condor does a spectacular job of simming wave! Above 20000' the haze and lack of distance data made it very difficult to keep turns under control due to the lack of horizon information. Interesting problem and quite true to life!
Is this the first Condor Diamond height?

Without Oxygen? For sure it was the first! Hope you aren't too damaged from oxygen starvation to the brain
or circling 2,000 times on your desk chair
.
Well done. Another great UK glider pilot.

Congratulation!
It would be great to see an altocumulus lenticulaaris at the top of the wave!

When flying at high altitude in wave will condor take into account that the higher you fly the lower your Vne will be with the air being thinner.

Hi,
Lesco, great climb!
ASH33M, try it
Yes, the Vne will get lower as flutter depends on true air speed, not IAS.

Thanks!
I saw there was a difference between the alt of intruments and alt of infobar (external view). It was more than 50 meters at 8000m.
8048m on infobar and ~8000m in the cockpit for example.
Why it is?

Hi,
the altimeter is set to QNH by default. But it's intentionally not exactly right when you enter the simulation, so you have to correct it yourself.
When you fly at high altitudes, the error gets bigger because of thin air.
The infobar allways shows the right altitude.

Great sim.
Szia lecso.
