The front is very similar to the Caravelle. My father´s friend who flew from Curtiss C-46, DC-3 over Amazon and is today a retired 767 international master, said that the Caravelle´s design was so good around the nose/windshield that when under rain, they never had to use the windshield cleaner because due to its fine aerodinamics, it self cleaned. Most airliners dont do it...
