Steve Morse is pretty good, also worked as an airline pilot in between bands in the 80's

Tell me: Do you guys actually play?
I tend to hate people that act like they know music, and next thing you know you're listening to a shabby youtube performance on an Iphone.. some people may refer to it as the Facebook generation.
The fact that nobody spoke of Tommy Emmanuel says it all I think. You might also want to take a look at Muriel Anderson, Chet Atkins, Leo Kottke (12 string yeh!). And what about John Mayer, he plays so damn nice, but on top of it he starts to sing. Most difficult thing imo, to keep the guitar rythme while singing in different rythme
But hey, there's always some asian guy doing it even better, so no reason overbidding while in the end it's all about taste.

Think positive, flaps negative.

Yes its all about personal taste, I think that's why everyone is putting up some of their favorites but I don't think this is a serious 'who is the best thread' everyone's opinion is different on that one anyway
Re: Crazy, Seal - Acoustic Guitar by Igor Presnyakov
I see this thread as just a way to share what we think is excellent playing.
and Tim,
I don't play guitar.. just drums very badly
