Odd shaped wings if remember with an extra bit around the join of the inner & outer panels, with an extended fin/rudder as seen in the picture. I only saw it with Ralph Jones '82' but Ralph was the Schempp-Hirth agent & very soon had a Nimbus 3.Cookie wrote:Not my glider but my dads that he flew in competitions. A "one off" Nimbus 2cs. Yes Ralph sold it to my dad when the Nimbus 3 was on it's way. He had the longest wing span for about 3 weeksFreebird wrote:Odd shaped wings if remember with an extra bit around the join of the inner & outer panels, with an extended fin/rudder as seen in the picture. As of last week I am the proud owner of a 1965 K8b. It's on registered in Belgium at the moment but it will bear a Dutch registration next spring. I'm doing some paint touch-ups on the fuselage in my garage, and I need to install a winch release. I can't wait to fly it in march .

Hello everybody! I'm new to Condor and to Soaring in general.
I flew many years in flight simulators, mostly combat ones, but recently moved to Condor.
I must say I fascinated with silent flight both in reality and simulation.
Here I would like to share some photos from my first real glider flight, which took place on 31 March 2012 from Schaenis airport in Switzerland.
I flew on Dicsus Duo X

And video I took that day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eG3rKLggMus
Plus some photos I took later in Alps, flying as a passenger in Super Dimona motorglider.

Hope you will like pics

Congratulations Arne, am I correct when I say that's at Starmoen/Elverum?
Think positive, flaps negative.

Yes, that's Starmoen. Have you been there? Or recognize it from Condor?TimKuijpers wrote:Congratulations Arne, am I correct when I say that's at Starmoen/Elverum?

But I was there during the wgc in 2004 crewing for my dad. One of the coldest competitions I can remember..
