World Wide Clock - for organizing races

Post by cruiser » Tue May 10, 2005 10:59 am

If you organize a race, I suggest that for stating a race time, we use GMT time as standard (until we get an online clock on the this site) and it can be found here:

http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/

The site also shows your local time (make sure you have correct time set on your computer) and you can easily calculate when you want to start the race/server.

I hope we can make this sticky. Uros, GR ?

Here is an excellent little app that I have been using for years to co-ordinate events world wide for flight sims.

My X52 has a clock feature which has three settings. One is for GMT. Another is for setting your local time and the third is a stopwatch feature.

Pretty nifty I must say. :D

VIRUS-Alarm?

The worldclock-tool is identified to have a backdoor trojan by my antivir prog.

Did anyone else experience this?

Try out AVG and if you can get spyware doctor, Excellent for removing spyware and hijackers but be sure to remove every other virus software.

Got one think to say: its way on time that www.condorsoaring.com got it`s world colck so all witch organize race can follow when they set a time... I often got problem with "the time" because of difference with time-zones :(

I have used http://www.worldtimeserver.com in the past when I was working abroad. Very useful site.
