Because there are no many flatland tasks/competition in Condor the majority of Condor flights take place in mountain regions (Alps, Anden, Pyrenees, ...). Of course it is very exciting to make high speed flights along ridges. But in reality most glider pilots fly in flatland or low mountains and they must accept the not so good weather at their home.
Therefore PIT and I have organized the VGCC (Virtual German Championship of Club Class) competition in the' West Germany 2' scenery. It is based on the RL competition, which took place in August 2017 in Moenchsheide. You are invited to participate (seehttp://forum.condorsoaring.com/viewtopi ... =5&t=17553 and http://www.condor-club.eu/comp/show/0/?id=294). From the 8th of February to the 1st of March you can test in 4 competition days on every Thursday what we consider to be a realistic flatland competition. Let us know, what you think about it and what can be improved.
