Hi All!
CondorSim intents to create a new weekly slot reserved exclusively for non PDA flights, ASK13 or other gliders.
At first, it would be easy flights, in the friendly spirit that once animated this kind of flight where everyone tried to help each other ...
Then we could progressively move from Initiation to more and more spicy flights...
And a new competition could be organized afterward.
In this poll, you can answer a maximum of 6 questions.
Good votes!
Would you be interested in non PDA flights?

If people are interested in No PDA on Friday @ 20:00 CEST (Club Class only) : http://www.virtualsoaring.eu/batoh
Re: Would you be interested in non PDA flights?
Thank you for participating in this poll about a special weekly no PDA rendezvous (ASK13 or other gliders) and a possible new K13-Cup.
Flights will take place every Friday evening at 18:15 UTM.
This new slot will be operational from 7 July on FR03.
The tasks will be very easy, at first, so we can be accustomed to non-PDA conditions ...
There will always be, on these evenings, a flight organizer present both on the flight and on TS.
These flights will not be races and mutual assistance will be required thanks to TS.
The same flight will be carried out every evening at 20:15, until the following Friday.
Of course, "beginners" are strongly encouraged to participate!
No-PDA flight being the best school to choose its path, analyse of weather conditions, ... We hope that many of you will come to photograph the TPs ...

Hello!
Just wonderling a little... :/
There are "no PDA tasks" every Fridays @ 20:00 CEST (18.00 UTC) [30 min jointime] (Club Class only) : http://www.virtualsoaring.eu/batoh
Tasks are usually typical triangles - aren't too difficult, but aren't too easy (good for beginners as for very fast pilots - depends what you learn, how good you are etc) + there is pack of pilots who fly it every week.
As you said: No-PDA flights are the best to learn centering, thermaling, choosing path, analyse of weather conditions etc. Club Class is perfect for those purpose - non pda flying - from historical to performance reasons.
IMVHO Why not to use slot/tasks/server from those who fly non pda tasks every friday for years? Why not to fly together? It is better to fly with 20 pilots than to have two servers with 10.
Just my 2c.

Re: Would you be interested in non PDA flights?
18:00 UTC? That's 14:00 EDT, while I'm at work
A few more explanations about what we want to do:
These flights will not be ordinary tasks, but a progress to help newcomers and other non accustomed pilots in no PDA flight for mastering it, and maybe in view of a future rebirth of the K13 cup!
Next Friday No PDA flight:
We hope this flight to be the first in a long series.
It will not be a race
It is an easy flight, in a beautiful landscape and will at first give easy orientation and path choices.
The PDA being "authorized", the start and the passage of the TP will be without screenshot:
Do not rejoice too fast the next flight will focus on taking (many) pictures, rather than on orientation.
And so, going crescendo in difficulty.
Landmark at the beginning, then remarkable sites well visible: lakes, peaks, crossing rivers or valleys, villages ...
We may further move to the ... small yellow field lost in the Pampa
We will be present to help those who are not used to these flights ... or who have lost it's practice.
You'll all be welcome with us
The FPL will be posted on Friday ...
