Ian,

Times are irrelevant as always in this get togther
but if you are keeping records: time 1:51:22, speed 127.4 km/h
the shock of his life when I nearly turned
Just when i thought that something had been lost in the translation of "DON'T TURN LEFT NOW" :D

Thanks for, once again a thoroughly good, challenging task. It is a pleasant change to use ridges to eke out a little height (rather than blasting along at Vne)
As mentioned it reminded me a little of this (rather long) clip
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JXvVUCdeGo there is a part 2

Curious as to why your camera does not pick up skins?

PS: a most enjoyable few hours to take the mind off the pain in face and nether region

Was thinking about Atacama again ....... don't know what the rest of the assembled throng think.

Interesting I was watching this program on the iplayer http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... s-5-aliens and there is a reference to the Atacama Desert about 15 minutes in. Apparently it is one of the most arid places on earth - 50 times drier than the Sahara Desert - and contains waterways largely unaltered from when they last held water thousands of years ago.

Hello people. Server will be running again tomorrow - another Atacama task. The wave is more accessible this time.

Task map, people.

A tricky one ...... and as discussed, I had done something unspeakable to turning point 2, which allowed Robin & Vince to sail away into the sunset.

Robbob ASG-29 01:36:54 156.3km/h
BeastFromTheEast ASG-29 01:50:17 137.3km/h + one bust glider
KentClub ASG-29 01:52:35 134.5 km/h

I might rethink this one somewhat ....... but as always, people seemed to be enjoying it.

We have Teamspeak also if you have that installed.

Haven't decided on a scenery yet but I would like to do another wave task.

Downloading Northern Norway ......... will try and evolve a task on there. Sorry about the lateness of the hour but I have only just got in :).

EDIT: It might have to be one from the club website ........ I may not have the time tonight to test fly an original one on unfamiliar scenery.
