Regatta cup 2014

Hello and welcome to Regatta cup 2014. This competition will consist of nine regatta start races (eight competition days and one training task). Each pilot will have 20 minutes to join servers called “Regatta Cup 2014”. Races will start 20 minutes after stop join. The winner of each task will be scored with 1000 points. Seven best results will be used to determine the overall classification. We will race at 19:00 UTC on Saturdays starting on the 25th of January. 22th of March is the last day of the competition.

Hi, nice idea to make a regatta cup.

But why u use the Alps XL sznerie. Its really instabil.
Please use Austria 2.0, Provence, Eastern Alps, Slovenia HD or what else.

We have so many stabil running landscaps what we can use.

For the Alps XL you need a fast PC or you have to reduce the visiblity. Than you feel like a mole in the air.

I am quite sure that task setter will also use other available condor sceneries apart from AlpsXL. If you are experiencing problems with AlpsXL please try to reduce texture size with texture reducer which can be found on condor club.

At what time did you try? Servers with no pilots connected switched off automatically when join time finished. There was about 20 pilots on server A and plenty of space available. Did you try server A?

I now flew the Retro Cup @ Virtual Soaring.
NoPDA without preparation... A challenge, but I finished...
