Hello,

what causes this error and CoMoMap closing: "Allocate QTMP failed"? Didn't find anything from manual (or didn't see...).
Got that yesterday in DCG winter competition (fpl attached).
I have the latest version.

regards,

Hi MPT,
attached is my ini-file.
I just flew TchinTchin task in AA3 with several active airspaces and used CoMoMap without any issues (I though entered airspace after TP2 and quit).
thx in advance,

Huge difference in number of active zones between these two tasks, that could explain the issue

Totally my bad
Thought airspace memory size other way round and increased it A LOT, now tested with 256 value and the CoMoMap works with the winter comp task. I love this add on program :!:
Very sorry for this mess up.

You have set Airspace_mem_size=4096 (that is MB)
CoMoMap is a 32-bit app so it can't address more than 3GB of memory (here if I try that, it crashes with a memory allocation message for another array, but it's coherent)
It works fine here with your FPL, with Airspace_mem_size=256 & 512, didn't test above

Hi, A question again regarding decentering. What view has to be enabled to see „decentering“ working ?
I set the value in the the ini to 1 to activate. Ist that ok ?

Thanks

De-centering works only in the centered view

Hello Marc, hm… I don’t get the decentering to work. With either 0 or 1 in the settings. I guess the effect should be visible 😉

One other idea for an future update. Is it possible to ad one button for. „Prev. Turnpoint“ ?

If there are more turnpoints one has to cycle through all TP and reset task till the actual TP is shown again.
( since you added the wonderful „longpress“ option, no additional physical button would be needed .

Next TP. Finish often wrong.

Hi it had occured now a couple times. When flying a task at some point i want to know, what heigt do i need for final. But often in the right it show the name and distance to finish-point korrect. But the dotted line and the cross is sowhere , but not on the finish line.

If i reset the task and circle through the TPs the finish again is "somewhere"

This is Task 4 from e-series.
1. picture: pointing to 3rd TP
2. picture to Start ( both on a TestFlight)

3rd picture: ,on the way to reporting point, i wanted to see the finish, but......

any idea ?

thanks

I have seen that once or twice (not on that task), but as it is not very reproducible, it's very hard to identify the cause of the bug.

Workaround : reset the task as you did

Please show some examples
The de-centering works only if you fly more or less straight for some time

I might add that in some future version, until then:

Thank you for the help.

i'll try the TP settings.

and i try to watch TP/finish issue. Maybe i find something "reproducable"
PS. resetting the task did not resolve the problem. It jumped to the exact same(wrong) point, when it should be on the finish line

pps. not to be gotten wrong. coMoMap is a wonderfull piece of software. It's so helpfull !!!!
