400m was not set by chance, but set to 30m AGL, rounded to the next 10
Ok, sorry, I apologize, I had not realized that all the races of the 1st FAI Virtual World Gliding Championship - Pro Championship had a Minimum safe arrival altitude of 30 m agl.
I was used to the World Series 2023 for which the Safe arrival altitude was 250 m agl approx.

Dear Pilots,
We hope this message finds you well. We want to address a concern that came up during Race 4 of the Pro Championship regarding the simulator's turning points (TPs) reading incorrectly as 0m instead of approximately 370m. This issue led to some unexpected outlandings upon arrival.
After a thorough analysis, we have decided to confirm the results of Race 4. We want to reaffirm that the briefing sheet provided prior to the race was 100% accurate. While we acknowledge that the TP discrepancy caused some difficulties, it is crucial to remember that each pilot's responsibility includes reaching the Minimum Finish Altitude of 400m QNH (30m QNH) as set for the race.
We urge all competitors to diligently review the briefing materials and your in-game flight planning. Despite our best efforts to cross-check all information with specific software tools, it is clear that unforeseen issues can still arise. This recent problem was not related to our organizational efforts. Remember, the PDA/GPS is a valuable tool, but it should not be followed without consideration of actual flight conditions.
Thank you for your understanding and ongoing commitment to the championship standards.
Looking ahead, we are excited to remind you that Races 5 and 6 will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. These races will be held in the Club class on the West Balkans 2 landscape. We are eager to see your skills in action once again.
Thank you for your dedication and understanding. We look forward to another thrilling competition.
Warm regards,
Antoine Havet
Competition Director
