Monday and Thursday are the best time for the pilots to fly during the week and have the potential to attract fans because there are no big sporting events during those days.

So why not Monday? I agree with Wiek that because of the clash some people will not participate in the first races of the World series. I just see this as very unfortunate as condor community is very small and whenever pilots have to chose between competitions numbers on both competitions are affected, which could and should be avoided.

Switching a slot on CWC might not be so easy. Thursday is in the middle of the week. For an earlier slot at 17:15 people might not get back from work, Morning slots would not work as people are working, flight at 23:15 is a bit late for people who go to work next morning.

If world series races cannot be moved I guess we will have to live with a split and lower numbers on both races, which is very unfortunate.

Scheduling conflicts may lead to lower participation in both competitions, which is unfortunate for the small condor community, but if World Series races can't be moved, we'll have to adapt to the split.
