Hello Guys!
I've got a little problem with understanding how Condor / Condor-Club measure the speed of task start.
In FAI rules we can read:
So it's Ground Speed, not TAS.
After today's Task:
https://www.condor.club/comp/besttimes/0/?id=22326
https://www.condor.club/analysis/0/?pag ... 0136BE5E7E
I realised i was far behind.. I checked my flight analisys in Condor Club:
So it's saying that i crossed starting line with 182.4 km/g speed at 15:00:12 time?
That's a little bit strange because i was not exceeding 170km/h (checked with Lk8000 Ground speed.
I remembered that i stayed ~165-168 km/h with a little airbrake (like 10% so i had a lot of room for slowing down) and after crossing the starting line, I realeased the brakes, speed up to ~175km/h and then go up and slow down to ~140km/h.
So i was a bit suprised about that 182.4 km/h.
I checked the FTR file with Condor build in Flight Analysis:
That anothers mistery:
During many checks the measurment was differend.
With first time:
Before crossing the line:
Afer crossing the line:
When i replayed it many times with right click "Jump Here" it was saying different speeds for expmple:
I was curious so i exported IGC file with Condor Flight Analysis and opened it in IGC viewer:
https://igcviewer.bgaladder.net/
And checked how i look like:
Before crossing the line:
And right after:
It's looking exactyly how i was flying - right beyond the limit. And this limit is set precise in the Rules - 170km/h. Not 170km/h +-15km/h..
Of course i'm attaching both FTR and IGC files so you could see check it in Condor Flight Analysis and IGC Viewer - https://igcviewer.bgaladder.net/

After discusing today's problem - my friend (JAZ) said that he had same issue yesterday. Started much below 170km/h (checked with LK8000 + COTASA (he also checked IGC file), with same speed that another pilot in front of him - and Condor Club said that he was starting with +180km/h and the pilot he was following below 160.
I know it's only a game - but if we had to stick to the rules i want to make them clear.
Best regards
Wojciech
