System requirements for Condor 3 in VR
Hello,
I'd like to get a few reports from VR users with Condor 3, what hardware do you use, is it running fluently without stuttering?
I've got a Quest 3 but my system is way too old, Core i5-6600K and Geforce GTX 1060 6GB.
Should I look for a used 3070 or get a new 4070 Super or even higher?

I'm having some bugs associated with VR but my system runs it smoothly when not buggy:
I won't be a help for a "minimum" spec perspective, but it's at least a data point:
AMD 5800x3D
64GB RAM
RTX 4090
SSD storage.
Quest 3 via Virtual Desktop
Pimax Crystal via Display Port
Both run great at native resolution.
I think you can get by with far lower specs as Condor 3 is graphically way behind XPlane and MSFS of any flavor.

I have a similar system to that of the OP.
i5 - 9400F / 16Gb ram / GTX 1660 Super / Quest 3
This ran C2 well with most settings at max.
I have only made a few attempts with C3 and find that the system is not coping well, frame rates in VR are about half of what I was getting with C2.
I have yet to try altering settings but would be interested in knowing how far I would need to upgrade to get the best out of C3, without breaking the bank!

Is that possible? I thought it doesn't work because Condor 3 is not OpenXR? Haven't tried it though...

I have RTX2070, i5 8500B (Mac mini with bootcamp).
C2 with a 2560x1080 monitor and C2 with Quest2 VR show quite good frame rates.
C3 with a monitor -> about 160 fps with maximum graphic settings
C3 with Quest2 -> about 30 fps with half graphic settings
Still C3 is good for old PC if you use a monitor.
But I am afraid C3 requires much more power for VR than C2.
If someone knows VR optimize method or tips for C3, please let me know.

Hi, does anyone know if there is there a setup guide somewhere? and does it support VR natively or does it require other software like Revive?

It supports Meta/oculus headsets natively. Other headsets at the moment via Revive. OpenXR support will be added in a later patch.

Unfortunately, l left Quest2 at another place, but I will check it later. I suppose updates 3.0.1 solved some.

I currently run C2 flawlessly on a Lenovo Legion laptop, I7 0750H CPU @ 2.60GHz, RTX 2080 Super, Quest 2.
Will that same configuration enable to run C3 too?

I'm running VR at 2732 x 2340 on a 2080 Super. With lots of clouds it's not completely smooth, although still tolerable for me.

My PC is over 10 years old with a budget GPU ugrade over Xmas.
- Running Condor 3 in VR with air-linked Rift 3s
- Im not sure what resolution I am running at.
- New to VR
- fps @ 30 something close on the ground maybe <200ft.
- fps @72 for 99% of flight.
- 2 or 3 micro glitches - not sure what those are about

Intel i5-4670k @3.40 Ghz
16Gb Ram
RTX 3050 8Gb
Rift 3s 128Gb - Air Linked to PC
Win 10 Pro 64 bit
