Condor 3 - VR - first impressions

yes, it works fine, with max settings. 90 fps with my reverb g2. I noticed some stutter from time to time though.

Anyone knows if the Quest 3 is supported? I'd presume it runs via SteamVR for the time being.

Native support for Quest 3.

I am guessing no change from C2 as far as VR support as nothing in the release notes. Will wait to see how others manage with the none Oculus headsets before parting with my £83.43 + Vat £100.12 to then have to Heath Robinson my G2 headset to work.

As announced before: VR support is the same as Condor 2. OpenXR will follow in a future patch.

100.12 GPB VAT? For real?? That should be rather the total price including VAT.

Sadly it does not work perfectly, you have to keep the FPS counter showing to stop it from freezing. You have to install the oculus software, install revive, and it is not finished there, its a pain in back side to setup. This is something that you should not need to do for £100 worth of software.

As for "OpenXR will follow in a future patch." I wont hold my breath for that.

yes, true. But on my side, I chose to be happy with what I have and be patient. Being annoyed will not make it come quicker

Hello,

My personal opinion is Condor3 is really better in picture rendering than Condor2.
I am going to stop playing naturally Condor2 for Condor3 because, more beautiful.
On VR side, I am using the same META QUEST 3 headset VR with a Nvidia RTX 3070 FE that is plenty enough to play in silence
