PSVR2 unable to initialise direct3d

Post by thenerdling » Sun Sep 15, 2024 11:41 am

I have the PSVR2 and i'm trying to get it working
It works fine with standard steamvr games

When i try to run condor in vr mode i get the unable to initialise irect3d error

I've tried different versions of revive and the instructions on this forum and no success

Any ideas?

Ive got open track to use the tracking from the goggles but i have no video yet, i think this is a bit of a bandaid instead of a proper solution

Finally got it working

I've set meta quest as the active openxr runtime (i think this was my main issue)
Capture.PNG
I'm currently using the older revive software as mentioned in the other forum posts (i cant remember the name sorry)

I drag the condor.exe into the revive injectorx64

Now its not working

I just get grey screens when running condor

i went to recalibrate the room since i moved things around, but i couldnt get into the calibration app, so i uninstalled everything

reinstalled everything, the calibration app still doesnt work, and now condor is grey. at least the direct3d error doesnt pop up anymore

Its working again, finally found a reliable combination of software and settings

I've also made a shortcut to automatically inject condor into revive, instead of dragging it into the exe

use the target: "C:\Program Files\Revive\Revive\Revive\ReviveInjector_x64.exe" C:\Condor2\Condor.exe
