I already own a laptop with a RTX 3050Ti on it, running Condor2 with 140+ fps in Slovenia landscape with lots of clouds, everything on max, MSAA 8x, screen resolution 1920x1080. Some flatlands landscape give me even 200+fps. Not doing multiplayer unfortunately... Doesn't mather what resolution I choose, the fps is capped at +-140 in Slovenia, MSAA on or off...
Meta Quest 3 feels like overkill for me with this low level gaming laptop. Specially due to this exactly gpu being blacklisted by Meta ).
Until now PICO 4 seams to be the best budget option for me, but before buying it I really want some feedback.
Last but not least, what I want is a playable VR in Condor, even with reduced settings (I'm not buying the eye candy stuff yet).
Can this setup be playable ?
Thanks in advance!

I play on a laptop with an RTX2070 with the quest 3. It works with 72 fps. 90 is too much. I do get the occasional drop to 36 fps when close to a cloud with a lot of other gliders around. Note that Condor 3 is reported to be more demanding on the system.

Re: [YES! Quest3] Can I run Condor2 on a RTX 3050Ti laptop + PICO 4? (140+fps in 2D)
Great News !!
I borrowed a Quest 3 from a friend and what a surprise !! My good cheap 3050Ti laptop (3Gb VRAM, 16Gb RAM) passed the test !
Stable performance with "recommended" settings (72Hz + 1.0x Default Resolution of 3104x1664) + Airlink (dynamic bitrate), no loss of FPS or stuttering.
The wifi connection was over Windows 11 wifi hotspot (I was hoping for 5GHz wifi6 - 802.11ax, but got normal 5GHz 803.11ac, need more tests/config...) and was better than USB2.0, I really want to try USB3 connection, but not cable right now...
For now, this is what I have tried:
- 90Hz + Default Resolution 1.0x and no perceived degradation, but need more tests to make sure of this info.
- 72Hz + Render Resolution of 1.3x - 3936x2112 = great painel readability, FPS was OK, but some stuttering when approaching to mountains or smoke..
I have some more days with the device and I need to try more settings to find the real maximum of this cheap setup (like vsync and Oculus).
