Revive Version 3.2.0

Hi all,

Revive version 3.2.0 was released a few days ago - and it includes a change to Add support for MSAA OpenGL texture swapchains.

In a quick test, running Condor through this version of Revive (3.2.0), streaming the result through Virtual Desktop to my Oculus Quest, everything worked very nicely - including with MSAA enabled (tested at the '2x' setting).

This means that it should now be possible, for anyone who needs to use Revive because you're using a non-Oculus/Meta headset, to:
  • Use the latest version of Revive, instead of the (now rather old) 1.9.2
  • Enable MSAA for better visual quality
I'd love if someone with an HP Reverb G2, HTC Vive, or other non-Oculus/Meta headset could give this a try and see if it works for them as well - so that it's not OK just in my strange setup!

(This latest version of Revive also adds a Tray Tool menu item to not just inject Revive into a program, but to create a Shortcut that you can launch in the future to inject+launch in one go, for convenience; though the Condor Revive Helper is still more useful to launch Condor with Revive from a multiplayer connection URL, I think.)

Can anyone who has tried this new version please post your experience here. I'd like to know so I can add it or not to the manual.

Hi everyone

First, the good news:

I have tested the new Revive 3,2,0 in my Pico neo 3 link and Valve Index HMD´s and used the MSAA 8X option in Condor 2, and works nicely (All graphics options to maximum). The Pico neo3 with a pc witn a Nvidia 1080ti and the Valve Index with a PC with a RTX 3090. Tried the AA scenery and ran smoothly in both PC´s.

But the bad news are that I had to "inject" the Condor2 in Revive because the Revive Helper doesn.t work.

The Revive helper doesn,t work with this new Revive 3.2.0. I´ve tried to reinstall the Revive helper again, and declare the new path (C:/Program files/Revive/Revive doesn´t exist in this new Revive version) so I tried C:/Program files /Revive but doesn´t go...

I hope someone could fix this problem soon...

It works perfectly!
I'm running Pico 4.

I had to reinstall Condor Helper, and then change the entry in the registyry (twice).
After a reboot, it works perfectly. Not only MSAA 8x, but the plugins in Chrome/Firefox.

I'm running Pico4 too...

Yesterday I installed the version 3.2.0, but have problem to get it working. I have no menu in the Tray Icon, so how can I inform Revive about the programs to launch.
Can I still use The "Revive Help tool 1.0.4" for Revive ver.3.2.0 and get the start Icon for Condor2 ??
Everything run's well with Revive 1.9.2

Hope to get some help

Thanks mr.Сyberpanic for the valuable advice. I did so and supersampling became available for use. However, I didn't see any difference in the dispay. Or is it so small that I don't notice it. HP G2

I have just installed Revive 3.2.0 and i cannot find a way to get Condor to run. My vive pro 2 headset would not run with the older version of revive as the drivers were incompatible (at least that is what I assumed from the error messages)

I have tried dragging Condor to the revive dashboard, no joy.

Otherwise I am stuck with Xplane.

The fix pckormic linked to worked for me on a HP Reverb G2. Thank you everyone! I'm finally able to play Condor again!

Je viens d'installer Revive version 3.2.0 .Tout marche très bien ,jai réglé "Video options"-MSAA Supersampling 8x vertical sync coché.
Je ne vois aucune différence avec l'ancienne version .L'image n'est pas meilleure.

I just installed Revive version 3.2.0. Everything works fine, I set "Video options"-MSAA Supersampling 8x vertical sync checked.
I don't see any difference with the old version. The picture is not better.

This has been working for me since August last year - but now I'm seeing a black screen in Condor. Anyone else running into this?
