Screenshot in VR

Post by k6chris » Sat Dec 24, 2022 1:01 pm

When I try to take a screenshot whilst flying in VR, the image that gets saved is the starting frame, ie prior to the flight starting, rather than the view I can see during a flight. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

You need to have mirror rendering on. The screenshot can only be taken from the 2D view. If you have mirror rendering on your left eye view will be displayed on the monitor and you can screenshot that.

Well, unfortunately, I figured out if I put mirror rendering on, it use much power of GPU. When using less powerful GPU, it reduces some frame rate.

Oculus mirroring may not use much power of GPU, but I did not find out how to take screenshots inside Oculus Links' Condor play.

Is there any other way to take screen shots?
