Can any one experienced in VR flying suggest a set of settings (or other tips) for beginners to minimize nausea?
There are some tips here and there on the forum, but maybe it's good idea to have it here in one thread.
It's not meant to optimize realism, just to minimize dizzyness
Any help appreciated.
Best,
Marcin
Nausea / motion sickness - recommended settings?
Re: Nausea / motion sickness - recommended settings?
Hi Kensei,
- Just eat something before flying with VR.
- Start with short flight, and then increase flying time.
- You can also in Condor Set up lower the Depth perception factor.
Just enjoy your flight with VR.

You need to train you brain to match the images it is seeing though the eyes, with the balance sensations you are getting elsewhere. Take a short flight on the ridge (lesson) and when you start to feel sickness, pause and remove your goggles. Then go back in again. Your brain will soon learn to adjust.
Good luck.
