Interesting, but the bug started after updating Condor from 2.18 to 2.20. Nothing else was updated. I believe I am not the only one. So, I am not sure it is with Revive ?

Don’t think I said it was Revive. In fact, if the data structure I describe exists it could be in Condor itself, or Revive. For that matter it could be in both and getting out of sync could be the problem.

I could also be completely wrong. The only folks that can know are the coders.

I have just built a new PC, is there a new guide to getting the Reverb G2 working. I eventually got it working on my old PC after much faffing I cant exactly recall.

At the end I think I just loaded up Revive and it just worked, using openxr.

Got VR working in all my other sims, will give this a try tonight.

EDIT

Just watched this vid, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPT9vNFSYxQ

Is it as simple as this now?

As I feared, just installed a lot of bloat with zero results.

Why oculus is needed lord knows!

How I got this working the last time must have been devine intervention.

lol. This is the main reason I do not change anything with my computer. I am too scared to add a new SSD and then for some reason it would not start anymore :D

Unless everyone is just bumbling a long installing everything they find on the internet till they get it working, there has to be a basic procedure to this.

The best I got was it loaded, I was in VR, in my G2, but the sky and ground was all black.

I've got that revive installed
Oculus, why is a mystery.
Openxr, my preferred VR engine
SteamVR, tried both.
Revive helper, installed, no bleeding help!

Abandoned play for this evening, bottle of wine has my full attention.

How on earth do we get this working?

Ok so this is where I am.

Can get it running, in a fashion, can get into plane, fly around, all be it that the red loading bar is not completely finished and just stuck. However as soon as the race starts and just as the on screen red text disappears the game freezes, no matter what time you set this for.

Had to turn off MSAA, just a black sky and ground with that.

This is using SteamVR, revive just crashes on start if trying to use Openxr. Dll error of sorts.

Clearly I've missed something, or messed up somewhere during the convoluted process of trying to get this working with my G2.

Currently unplayable, can't go back to flat screen. Would be nice if the Devs could throw us a bone.

Cheers, looks like this might take me a step further. But I am getting the impression its possibly due to the most recent update?

I have tried going back versions of revive, tried the last 4 version, just the same. Is it possible to roll back Condor2, are the previous versions available? To test if nothing else.

It would be great if anyone who has this working flawlessly currently could provide the steps.

PS

Does this work with Openxr or do you have to use SteamVR?

Cheers this worked, no freeze and can fly about as normal.

Whilst it's working in a fashion it feels very Heath Robinson. There's something not correct for sure.

Hello,

I wanted to start again flying in Condor, but the game does not start anymore :(

I reinstalled everything but after Revive installation and everytime I start steamVR, I have this popup from reviveOverlay.exe "revive did not start correctly. No oculus library was found". Anyone had such issue ?

edit : found the issue. I had to modify the path to "/C:///Program /Files///Revive///Revive///x64///ReviveInjector.exe" in the registy editor for Revive_injector_path
