Hi,
For a few weeks now, I have had serious stuttering problems.
My Windows 10 is up to date and I have the latest GPU drives also up to date. My VR device is an HTC VIVE with a single base with Revive 1.9.2. I have an GPU: AMD RADEON RX 5600 XT 8GB, CPU: a RYZEN 5 3600X CPU, and 16GB of RAM, with Windows 10 64bits. I left the GPU drivers settings by default. I have removed all possible background processes and tasks. And in the configuration of Condor 2 (latest version) I have MSAA and Vertical-Sync disabled, also reflections canopy disabled.
It happens with any plane and with any scenario. Usually, after a few minutes of flying, but it's a pretty random fact.
If you can help me, please!
Thank you
HTC VIVE Stuttering
Re: HTC VIVE Stuttering
This happens to me as well with the Valve Index using Revive. It started with the release of the latest version of Condor.
I've posted about it in other threads and have gotten no help on the matter. It happens every time I fly, after 5-10 minutes.
I'm going through all of my video card settings one by one to see if anything helps. I have an RTX 2070 super with a i7-5930K and 16gb Ram.
It's a shame having all the best hardware and getting such crummy results out of this software..
Not to mention, no support from the devs.

Re: HTC VIVE Stuttering
Hi,
Did you ever find a solution for this? Having the same/similar effect. Start a flight in VR with superb performance but after 15-30 minutes, it starts stuttering. Multiplayer, free flight, makes no difference.
Regards,
Benny

Re: HTC VIVE Stuttering
I Just started flying Condor 2 in VR and I get also very low FPS after some minutes. Had to abort races and continued in 2D....
Using a valve Index with revive.
HWSpecs are not the Problem:
Ryzen 2700
RTX 2080
32gb RAM
Maybe switching to openxr will help?
Buddy had the exact same problem btw.

Re: HTC VIVE Stuttering
You should done everything from:
https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/qu ... ngs/346521
In my case it solve all problems. Main thing is to install Nvidia 446.14 driver.
Now my 1080ti on maximum settings with mirroring and super sampling x8 works at 70% load of gpu without any stuttering.
Best regards
Mateusz

Re: HTC VIVE Stuttering
Having tried all of the above troubleshooting steps and rolling back to the 446.14 driver, I still experience stuttering to the point of being unusable after 15-30 minutes. If I persist, it sometimes improves a little after another 10 minutes or so. Any further progress on a fix? Is there a possibility this is some kind of GPU temperature / throttling or power management issue not addressed by the above troubleshooting?
