Anyone tried HP Reverb?

I wonder how many frames per second it runs on average GPU in Condor 2.

Valve Index is the hmd to have or beat. 1080 or better req for Reverb and other than pixel count doest add much to the equation, where index has a more realistic jump in res along with bigger fov, next gen audio, designed for long session comfort etc though costs a bit more

Valve Index has higher frequency and FOV, it's really good, but currently HP reverb is sharper than anything else.

Will get one end of next week and will post my impressions then.
Using an i59600 CPU and NVIDIA 1070Ti - let‘s see how it will perform.

HP Reverb is a WMR Headset, so yes, it runs with Condor2. You‘ll need of course Steam VR, Oculus SW and Revive.

Anyone out here already with a HP Reverb?
My vendor told me that HP currently stopped shipping of the Reverb (Business Edition) in order to fix a cable problem. Next delivery date mid of July...

First impressions:
Reverb sharpness is amazing and sde is near to not existing anymore. FOV dramatically increased compared to my Acer WMR Headset. „Scooba diving“ effect also reduced to a minimum. Stable 90 Frames with GMX 1070Ti at 134% resolution in Steam VR. As soon as I increase the resolution settings in Steam VR, readability of the instrument panel increases, (e.g. velocimeter in Ventus) but the framerate reduces too. Will check next week if GMX 1080Ti allows higher oversampling values and thus more sharpness .
All in all a real progress - I can recommend to invest 499 EUR in this Headset for Condor2; availability of the Consumer edition should get better the next weeks.

I actually bought the business Edition at „De Rekenwinkel“ (search for it...). In (german) VR Forums I read that the Consumer Version should become available during September; some forum posters could get it already directly from HP for 499 EUR but it was sold out on short. So I think you need to check the HP shop from time to time and/or your preferred reseller.
Checking actually - it seems the official consumer edition list price will be 599 $, so EUR 499 is unrealistic - at least until other comparable hardware from other vendors gets available...

Hi cyberpanic,

how is your overall experience with the Reverb?

I'm about to buy one at "De Rekenwinkel" as well. I saw this teaser
https://www8.hp.com/us/en/vr/reverb-g2-vr-headset.html
but I'd actually like to get some simulation hours in Condor now, so I'm not sure I should wait for another product...

Best regards,

Eridian
