Its not possible, and I dont know why you would want to do that.

I dont know why you would want to do that.
the pilot's body looks like a corpse from a morgue:)))
And legs, like rubber, without knees
compared to a very well-developed cockpit, the body looks like plasticine: (((

I think that developing pilots with different 'skins' would be a possibility (size, skin colour, sex), in the same way this is done for the gliders. To be realistic for a glider pilot I think it needs loads of biscuit crumbs and sandwich crusts to be littered over the pilots front and lap :D

OK, make me a new one, in blender with rigged joints, including fingers.

If its great we will use it !

As an aside, why is discussion of the pilot in a VR thread?

Chris - the appearance of the pilot matters because in VR any distortion between how you think your body should look and feels and what your eye actually sees can cause creeping nausea. The most immediate one for me is the dis-morphia between feeling my legs bent at 90 degree at the knees and in simulation they are sticking out straight horizontal. I'm making a quick and dirty simple VR cockpit with a beach chair - something that allow at least my legs to be more horizontal to match what my eyes sees. It makes quite a difference to the feel in my initial experiement. As I mentioned in PM the pilots legs in the model look to long to me in the aircraft where the cockpit looks too small.

The # 1 thing I think needs addressing in Condor VR is a user settable basic eye-point ( using an XYZ setting ) which will be retained when you hit view reset. The current eye point is not correct for VR - your eyes feel like they are looking out your neck and your virtiual hips are way too forward . Sometimes it takes quite an effort to try and compress down in your seat and hit view rest to try and lift your eyepoint - its really tricky and uncomfortable and it gets all undone if you have to fit view rest which sometimes happen when your view direction drifts a little.

Very important!
Yesterday after 9 hours of flight at competitions (Jura_Mont-Blanc2) I felt pain in my eyes
because the picture (terrain and clouds and planes of other pilots) outside the cockpit moves after the cockpit during turbulence in flight.
It is necessary to completely untie the movements of the cockpit from the pilot's head !!!
And the picture outside the cabin should not twitch in moments of turbulence !!!

Did you try "auto view panning" or "view smoothing". Auto view panning all the way off should help most.

Well... in real life you are strapped to your glider. It's the outside world that moves about when there is turbulence. Turning "auto view panning" off produces exactly that effect in condor. The problem is that you don't feel the turbulence with your vestibular system.

How do you propose turbulence should look like?

How should I install levers of "Auto view panning" and "view smoothing" so that my view would not be tied at the cockpit, but tied to the horizon?
