Re: Condor 2 VR
Hello, also very interested.
Can you tell how me how you convinced Condor to render 2 viewports for the stereoscopic view ?
This would also be interesting to get 180 degree surround views with 3 monitors.
As it seems it is currently not possible in Condor 2 to render multiple viewports for perscpective correct multi monitor operation.

VR interest here too (HTC VIVE)!!!
Re: Condor 2 VR
Here one with HTC Vive waiting! I think this is the perfect flight simulator for VR. You don't need the resolution needed to read other gauges as P3D or XPlane.
Re: Condor 2 VR
Just adding to the thread that here's someone who would like VR too As previously said, Condor seems like a perfect fit for VR in it's current state. For now i'm just happy to enjoy V2 though
Re: Condor 2 VR
Please , where I can find your software for Condor V1 ???flyingtux wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2018 11:51 pmHi,
So Perhaps I will still release my software for Condor V1, Ok it's only V1 but it's 6DOF Steroscopic VR
Question : how many people will be interested ?

I´ve got an Oculus Rift CV1, and once you try it, the monitor screen seems too "flat"...

Re: Condor 2 VR
Another VERY interested pilot (COndor2 + Oculus CV1).
I really like Condor, it's the most similar experience to what our RL glider behaves...
But, but, after you try flying with the Oculus it's really no way back.
I now fly in Prepar3D v4 with Aerosoft gliders (with thermals and ridge provided by CumulusX) in ORBX Innsbruck scenery and is breathtaking (although the gliders cannot even enter in a stall spin, but I decided to live with it).
SO please, please, go for it flyingtux!
Thanks in advance

Has anyone suggested starting a crowd funded support for condor2 to make it vr?

it's better to ask for flyingtux ! More chances for ambulance!sweetwater wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2018 6:46 amHas anyone suggested starting a crowd funded support for condor2 to make it vr?

Re: Condor 2 VR
I've been using Condor 2 in VR for the past hour using VORPX. Its injecting to the rift in 2D and I have head tracking working using a mouse button toggle. Its not at all good but would be totally usable if I could significantly widen the FOV on the game more than the current maximum zoom out view. Is there an ini file or similar I can edit to force this?

Re: Condor 2 VR
By a mouse toggle button you mean you turn head tracking on/off?
Re: Condor 2 VR
I setup a joystick button to be a right mouse button toggle. Press once and right mouse input is held, press again to release.
VORPX had an update today which has actually enabled Condor 2 to run with Adaptive 3D which, although not proper Geometric 3D is a little better than straight 2D.
I want to stress that although you can get VORPX to work at a basic level, it is a terrible experience in Condor 2 compared to implementing proper VR support including 6DOF. I absolutely do not recommend buying it to run Condor 2.

Re: Condor 2 VR
OK Jean-Pierre, I think you must develop your software for V2 !!!!
It would be so realistic !!!
But, when you say 6DOF, are you speaking about zoom in/out, or tilting the head sideways ?
I'm waiting for an Oculus V2 with wider resolution, before buying one...
