Did you update condor to 2.0.5? VR is released as of yesterday evening.

Hi Tom
Sounds great  . What is needed for VR. How much would it cost?
I would be glad if you could give me an idea.
Thanks K.

Oculus Rift is one of the supported VR headsets. Additionally you will need a powerful graphics card (and underlying PC).

See https://support.oculus.com/1773584749575567/ for Oculus minimum specs.

I'm considering upgrading my own PC, which will need a new graphics card (Nvidia GTX 1060) and the Oculus rift headset. If I go ahead with that, I think it will cost me 600GBP (even with discounts). If your PC does not meet the other criteria on the Oculus page linked above, then it will cost you more.

VR does sound great, but I'm unsure if it means 600GBP to me! . In a day or two I'm planning to post a few questions here to dig into details and help me decide.

Hi Tom
Tx a lot for the fast reply.
The graphic card does not meet the recommended specs.
So it will cost some.
Best regards K.

It means the view in the VR headset is also shown on the PC monitor.

Many thanks for the VR implementation. I am a returning flyer because of this, I can't fly Flight Sims on a flat screen since getting the RIFT two years ago.
You have done a great job too! Graphics all on High and pixel density set too 1.4 with the Oculus Tray Tool, I'm getting silky smooth result. Happy Christmas Guys!

You can install condor on 2 computers (but not use them simultaneously). However, I believe condor uses a hash of your hardware devices, so installing more than 2 copies on the same computer may not be a problem. Im not 100% sure though, especially if the drives are different. I would suggest you just try it, and see if one of them deactivates.

BTW you can share the condor installation folder across your OSs. You just need to run the installer once on each windows install to get the registry sorted, but that way you dont have to maintain sceneries and pilot settings on each install.
