I just flew this today. Kathmandu to Everest. As the took this shot with the occulus headset lifted so I could find the key , The Ventus sailplane exceeded VNE and I lost a wing so I never got home.

Perhaps I could ask a question to any photo and video experts.
I have made screen capture videos of replays of some mountain flights and the terrain appears flattened out with the mountains much less impressive. Is this because of a miss-match of aspect ratio and what can I do to correct it?

Just when you think it cannot get any crazier.

1500 km thermal task.

Unlike most of the other long distance flights you can find on Condor Club this here wasn't done by stupidly buzzing along ridges in 50km/h of wind

Started the task with 0 clouds and finished with only very few clouds left. I seriously don't think you can get much more further than this solely by using thermals. But who knows
