Anyone here using LXNAV Nano 3 or 4 for real flying? Is that in-build vario any good?

Without external (total energy compensated) input, I am sure it is useless.

Same as my xcsoar on android.

I use an Openvario with sensorboard..

I have a nano4, and I use the thermal assist "ring of fire" feature quite a bit. You just have to be cognizant that it won't know the difference between stick thermals and real lift.
