Ka8 b in developement

Post by Cumulus7 » Mon Mar 20, 2006 11:32 am

Hi,

i just wanted to say that i am in the early stages of modeling a Ka8 b.
Too early to post screenshots - but getting there.

I just post this here, so that nobody else starts on this project at the same time.

Greetings,
Markus

Nice, I know what its like working on the old wooden gliders. Working on a K13 whenever I have time and its interesting getting the shape, but it is good.

btw: I do hope to finish the K13 sometime, so please dont be too concerned about the progress people, I am still alive here, just too much schoolwork, anyway, sorry for hijacking thread ;)

Edit: Can't mention anything about dimensions as I have only flown K18s (or seen) therefore its all up to the other critics from here on, but nice modelling from what I can see :)

Why not?
If the wings of the models consist out of a few parts, they sure can bend I think.

if you start with a winch and you look at your wing you can see that is indeed BEND. and that for a ka-8b ;-)
the sky is not the limit, the ground is ;-)

not nearly enough polygons on the fuselage :!:

If you don't get the joke, that's what I say about a RL Ka8 too.. looks like it was designed by someone with not enough memory for his CAD program ;)

Looks really great to me, but I can't say I look forward to flying it in Condor with the current weather model with far too few thermals at low alt..

There were some speculations about sending ~170 pilots on a 200km task with a fox...
What's the difference dude :D
