More Realistic Glider

Post by Pascal Kirtz » Wed Mar 15, 2006 9:47 pm

Hi guys,

I've just finished my first skin for Condor.

It's availible for Discus-2c

Improvements are:

- New tyre design
- Label for tyre air preassure at the tail of the glider
- added something like a screw for fixing the position of the tail tyre
- added outlines for rudders and airbrake
- added outline for 18m Extention wing
- added outline between body and wings of the glider
- added steering links to airbrakes
- added valves for droping water ballast under the wing

I know that this is not a totaly different skin but I hope you like these little improvements ;)
hope you like it

Greetings from Germany,

Pascal (9M)

Yeah, skin is pretty nice. I like this one (technic with shadow like skin for ASW28-18, its very good idea)

Can anyone tell me how to load a new skin for a glider please? I have three downloads I would like to install.

Thanks

Place the .bmp file into the skins folder for that glider.

e.g. place the Discus9M.bmp file in:
C:\Program Files\Condor\Planes\Discus2\skins\
(If Condor is in the default installation).

Then when you select a glider for a flight select the new skin from the "Skin" drop-down list in the FLIGHT PLANNER Planes panel.
