where it is, I cannot get my leg into position.
I tried to fly a Libelle a friend of mine had in R/L, but I could not operate the rudders effectively
because the oxygen bottle protruded a little into the leg space. (My knee would jam against the
bottle with my 182cm tall body). The bottle was mounted high under the panel and protruded
downwards into the leg cavity.
That particular Libelle held the Women's altitude record here in Australia, not sure if it's been
beaten, but it probably has.
BTW, R/L aside, it is really difficult to see down there, and no instruments exist above it, just
a few switches that might be obscured.
Just a thought if you feel like re-modeling the Libelle for me
