EB29R bug take off with motor

Post by zadmalck » Thu Nov 14, 2024 6:07 pm

Hello all.

Condor 3.0 XC

I just want to let you know that I was unable to take off with the engine on EB29R.

Facing the wind (20km/h) Flap 2 Engine at full throttle.

I did not exceed 80 km/h and 0.0 to 0.1 climb rate.

As you are testing version 3.0.1 tonight, you will probably be able to watch ...

Have a good flight everyone.

Any chance the FPL had a wingloading restriction at 50 kg/m^2? There is a floating point rounding error with the EB29R at that wingloading and we have that fixed. It triggers cheat protection at that wingloading.

This is why it it nice if you could post the FPL so we can try to replicate the bugs...

Yep, as I suspected. That is fixed in the next patch. If the wingloading limit is set at 50 kg/m^2, set the waterballast to 30 liter, not 31. Then you'll be able to take off normally in version 3.0.0.
