No K18?

Post by stonelaughter » Sat May 07, 2022 10:03 am

Guys I've flown the K6Cr, the K6e, the K8 and the K8a. All lovely, but very light and felt like flying a feather... and (certainly with the K6) I always felt I was sitting too low in a cupola bubble on a WW2 bomber.

But the K18 was a simple joy to fly. It felt solid and happy. It went to the right place and the right attitude before you even knew you wanted to go there. It didn't feel like it was being tossed about the sky. The cockpit sides were low and the view out was absolutely fantastic.

I would love to see this aircraft get some condor love - and I am not the man to do it having zero skills in this area. Will anyone ever be making one?

I also loved the Astir CS and CS-77 but I've read the threads on those and don't suppose I'll be seeing them anytime soon.

Astir CS will be made by me soonish. Just have to find time to go and scan the cockpit at Nico’s club in Beaujolais
