Re: MS-893A Rallye Commodore
Hi guys,
I'm stuck.
The outside is completely finished.
Unfortunately I can't find any good images of:
Flaps handle with indication between the front seats. (two positions?)
Slats handle or switch with indication.
Trim handles or wheels with indicator for rudder and elevator trim.
Image of Wingbeam tube behind the front seats, there must be something there but have no idea what it looks like.
I also need clearly legible images of the various decals. On all the images I have, not one is clear enough.
They must be images of the MS-893A or a type similar to this, because there are so many different versions.
I hope someone will help me.
In the meantime I'm working on the Husky again
grtz,
Jan (WW)

I'll try to find a French gliding club that still has one (preferably with the SFACT livery, as shown above).Jan Oorthuijsen wrote: ↑Thu Mar 17, 2022 7:29 pmHi guys,

As far as I remember, the slats were automatic, so no lever

Re: MS-893A Rallye Commodore
Hi Jan
Very good job!
All the wings of MS Rallye are quite identical.
The slats are automatic
The fowler flaps had 3 positions 0°, 10°, 30° (see the sketch)
The curved handle is in the centre of the cockpit between the two seats, with a button on the summit of the handle to allow the transition between the 3 positions (see the photo, red arrow).
My static object of a Rallye A show you the fowler flaps and slats fully extended.
By the way, I have only one beagle at home.
Good continuation.

Re: MS-893A Rallye Commodore
Thanks Xavier,
I have a sheet with all the details of the moving parts.
Flaps, slats, ailerons, rudder and elevator are already fully modeled and moveable.
The image of the instrument panel is a good addition and already gives a bit more info.
Here's a picture of my rascals, they keep me young
