Thanks Wickid :)

I made a panel, the default on the Stemme is for eagle eyed souls.

.gau file

Artwork is Imperial, sorry.

ASI - convert to .bmp ! Flap speeds approximate only until better data is found.

[...] I did my first flight online with the Stemme, it was a winch start.
I tried three times and each time I spawned on the field with my engine out and running at full power.
Could not get the winch to start (obviously) but managed self launch.

I don't think it is supposed to do that.
It is supposed to do precisely that.

The Stemme does only self-starts.
The nose cone opens and the engine starts at full throttle (whatever the position of the axis connected, if applicable) as soon as you are the first one in the take-off line.

Hi,

I don't know if this can be fixed or not.

0_S12_Yellowbird.jpg
the airbrake cap position is now overlayed onto the other one. Is included in 2.1.5.

Also for the people who made different cockpit textures for condor-club. There were some changes to the cockpit textures as well (some parts remapped or moved)

Thank you wickid.

The paint kit still shows the old version, but most will not notice it I think.

Does anyone have accurate flap range speed data on the Stemme?

As far as I know this one of the best kept secrets

I would point you to that thread : viewtopic.php?f=39&t=20200
... but I guess you saw it as you already made a flapring

However, given the number of data points I gathered and the time I spent flying the Condor model in order to draw each polar curve corresponding to each flaps setting, I would say that these values are accurate enough to use in Condor.

Hi Bre901,

Yes, I did use your data to create my Stemme ASI flap ring modification.
Thank you so much for your time and effort testing this and publishing your result,
Your data was invaluable to my little cockpit mod.

I'd like to add that this gave me the confidence to fly the Stemme in online competition.
Also, the Voyager is a joy to thermal in Condor2, I was pleasantly surprised at it's climbing
capability, thank you all who contributed.

Hi,

I just bought the S12 and I am learning how to fly it. After taking off and turning the engine off the propeller continues spinning and I didn't find a way of stopping the propeller in order to close the cone. I think that without doing it the glide ratio is much worse, right? Is there a way to do it?

Thanks,
Joaquim

You have to stop the engine with the "start motor" key (default L). After that you can retract the nosecone with "extract motor" (default key K)

When do you need to turn off the engine in a task? I had the engine on for quite some time, but turned it off before starting the task (https://www.condor.club/showtask/0/?id=12693) but I wasn't able to start for some reason. Even though I was still way bellow the maximum altitude.

The engine must be shut down below the tow altitude (airport elevation + tow height) or, if winch start (airport elevation + 300m)
