Thx for your input lads!
While all needed data are available online for the miniLAK17 FES (correct 3-view drawing, flight manual, airspeed vs sink rate polar), I have been unable to find any of these for the Silent 2 Electro.
I have just asked Alisport if they would like to support me in the project.
We will see how it turns out quite soon...

Well well, just got an answer from Alisport Swiss : they do not wish to share the flight manual or any HD 3-view drawing (what I can understand, can't blame them for being cautious about their trade secrets).
It's all settled then : miniLAK17, here I come! :lol:

Sounds great. I am personally glad that you going for more of a traditional type of glider. Looking forward to a self launching FES (even though I think the S stands for sustainer!). Thank you and look forward to seeing your model!
