Does this model meet Condor quality requirements?

Post by Kekelekou » Fri Aug 07, 2020 10:47 am

Hello there!

I am considering getting started modelling sailplanes or motorgliders for Condor2, but I am wondering if my modelling skills are suitable regarding the high quality requirements.
So here is a link to a viewer of the Fauvel AV-222 model I created a few years ago. It was subsequently 3D-printed and used as a master for a polyurethan scale model, not as a sim model.

Would this quality level be enough for Condor2? For the exterior I mean, the cockpit lacks details due to the 1/72 scale.
And I don’t want to submit THIS model to Condor.

Thank you for your feedback!

The modelling looks nice and plenty of detail :)

But you have > 500.000 vertices if i read the viewer correctly. That is too many for Condor. Please see the guidelines. Get your model to 50.000 and still looking nice and we are ready to fly !
