ASW28?

Post by JShieck » Thu Apr 23, 2020 6:10 pm

I know there are already some topics asking about ASW27 and it got rejected because it's to similar to the ASG29.
What about the ASW28? :D
It's a strong competitor to the Discus2.

Would the 28 find way into Condor2 if I make the model?

Is it possible to get the ASG29 file?
(My Blender can't open the .c3d-file from the Condor folder)

So I can make the chanches to ASW28.
I put the 3 view pictures on top of each other and an other member of my soaring club owns an ASW28.
So I can make the details exactly.
The fuselage is almost same.
Only a few differences.

If you build the ASW-28 can you please use a 80mm ASI instead than the 57mm currently installed on the '29?
I know 57mm are more a common in RL but they are really hard to read in VR.

I don't have the "project permissions" for getting the ASG files yet.
I've mailed OXO, but before he wants to send me the file, he wants to ensure that I am able to make it and I wouldn't give up after some time.
I'm now waiting for his answer.

For your question:
can you please use a 80mm ASI instead than the 57mm currently installed on the '29?
It's possible to edit the panel using this file: C:\Condor2\Planes\ASG29-18\ASG29-18.gau .
You only have to chanche the scale property.

For more information see: viewtopic.php?f=39&t=19284

But before we can talk about gauges and panel layout I have to get accepted by OXO and make the 3d model.
I noticed your request and when I will be as ready that I will be going to make the panel I will remember it.
It's nice to see there are some more people interested in an ASW28 for Condor2. :D
