DG 808 template - issue

Dear developers,
when repainting the DG 808 I experienced an issue with the motor flaps. In the current template they are overlapping the fuselage mesh...

So I had to clip the solar panels to a rather strange shape for not having them showing up on unwanted places...

The overlapping is not the same for both motor flaps, nevertheless - for the less strange result - I clipped the panels symmmetrical according to the more critical (the left) side.


Could you please have a look at that?

This of course is welcome to wait until AFTER finishing the ongoing ASW 20B :lol:

Hey Tom,

thanks for reporting. I am not sure wether this is only a problem of the template or rather a problem of mapping. I remember to fix it some time ago, but I will check it for you as I get home next week.

thanks for your reply.
No big worries, the DG808 is beautiful nevertheless - in the looks as well as in the feel.
1) It's the scars and the imperfections that make us interesting.
2) I don't ever see her from the outside.

Call me a grumpy old man if you want, IMHO all that time spent on skins by all the skin addicts could have been spent much better on creating new models or testing new landscapes, etc. :roll:

True, true... guilty as charged.
Usually I'm not into skins - this was a sentimental moment, honoring a DG200 I had the luck to fly for one season.

No worries, you ARE right, Bre901 - everything "nice 'n easy" on this side... except that we are not allowed to fly out there, in the best part of the season... *UUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH-HAAA-HAAAAAAA*
