Alright, so the project hasn’t been abandoned. Do we have any idea of the availability in stores?

great, I update the version to 3.0.2 and I immediately buy this motorglider which is used by so many clubs. And I will try to redecorate our C-FZJD, our CVVS club in Chicoutimi in Quebec. SF28 bought in Vinon in 2020

After the first flight I can only say, it's a fantastic plane. With the same index like the Blanik I can't believe it's competitive, but this plane needs for sure a little bit of training to get the best out of it. With the not compensated vario it feels like flying in the 1970's. For me it's just fun, it's even better than expected.

I'm a little bit surprised about the airbrakes, 5 m/s sinking with airbrakes is nothing I expect for a Scheibe plane, flew L-Spatz and SF25B IRL, if I remember right 2,5 - 3 m/s sinking was the maximum, but maybe the SF28 was better. But even if it's wrong, it's good to have it that way in Condor.

Well done and thanks for that plane!

Not sure if these gauge files are right, you guys might want to check them.

I posted this in the 3.02 update thread as well.

I know some of the gauges will still work with the defaults in the main gauges folder,
but I suspect some of these are custom files for the SF28?

These files were found in the hangar update 1, and they appear to be the intended
content of the Hangar Update.

I don't own it yet, so I can't check myself.

I bought that SF28 and flew a bit with it yesterday, it feels nice ! hard to thermal without a compensated vario but this plane is interesting ! thanks

You can make it compensated if you want. Open the .GAU file (with any text editor)

Change:

Code: Select all

TECompensated=0
To:

Code: Select all

TECompensated=1
Normally motorplanes/motorgliders use an uncompensated vario as it is more useful when flying straight and level on the engine. That is why the SF28 has it like this too.
