Restoring your modified panels and gauges after 2.09

Post by congo » Wed Nov 06, 2019 6:41 am

Hi,

Firstly, we now have flap rings on the ASI's for our flapped gliders, many thanks to wicked.

However, some of you may prefer your old panel setup, as the new oversize flap rings
have possibly ruined your panels with your custom flap rings, and you found that by scaling
down your ASI's to fit them, they are now small and difficult to read.

Here is a simple fix for you.

In each flapped glider's "gauges" folder, there are two new files, speed.c3d, and it's imperial
counterpart speed-i.c3d.

You can simply .zip it up and delete the original one, that gives you a backup. The panel will
instantly revert to the global speed gauge files as before, and your old panels will be as
they were before 2.09 patch, without the new flap rings.

You only need to delete the metric or the imperial file, which ever format you use.

Do this for each flapped glider you wish to customise.

You also will have to replace any gauge artwork (your old flap ring ASI's) that the patches
overwrite.
