Request
I run a multi-club evening task nightly since the Covid-19 lockdown, at 7pm EDT/2359Z. The introduction of the ASW-19 caused some angst as some were aware it happened and patched, some didn't. The result was unhappy. Could we have 24 hrs notice of an impending patch/hangar update, to inform our fliers, so that, in the words of a Bavarian pilot, "it would be orderly"? I could have the server patched, and run club class tasks for a few days to allow the new owners to exercise their new acquisitions. I realize the problems of having users all over the globe must have in selecting a 'go' time for patches.
We do have a policy of updating on receiving notice that a patch exists, but some members aren't that computer aware, and turn on their computer about a half-hour before...
Nice work in keeping Condor updated. We're enjoying the heck out of it, looking at great soaring skies in the earliest spring in four years in Canada. It's keeping us sane.

Re: ASW20
Faults in the current ASW20B model
1. Canopy lathing mechanism is wrong variant the current one is from the A model and although it could be fitted to a B its was replace the whole canopy and was generally done at the factory when exporting to the U.S.A as the TN25 says.
2. Landing flap the leaver moves quite a lot further in the real glider from what has been modeled it needs to move about 3 times as much from position 4 than it currently dose.
3. The ASW20 never had double paddle airbrakes it was a mod to the 19 but the 20 didnt need it due to it having proper landing flap the single paddle lower side comes just proud of the top surface of the wing when fully open and at which point the wheel brake is on full and you WILL nose over on landing like that.
4. for some reason the model has dual disc brakes this is not the case it is only on the stb side.
5. The hydraulic disc brake on an ASW20B is very effective and will nose over at the moment it seems to slow like the drum brake of the 20A
6. when you go to flap one on the 20 you loose about 20% of the stick movement in roll this is built in to stop pilots over stressing the aircraft in high speed flight the side effect is you need to start the aerotow in flap 2 to have full roll control as per the flight manual.
ive only flown the condor 20 for about 45 minutes now
i have flow all 3 varients of the ASW20 and ive owned 2 ASW20BL one with winglets in 15m mode and one without i have about 70 hours on type and i have been passing on information via Nicolad Caudrelier including the photos and measurements of the pitot probs under the wing for the blown wing.
i do feel a bit let down after waiting so long for this model to be published knowing beta testing was going on and to find so much that anyone who has flown an ASW20 would have noticed

Re: ASW20
Thanks for your feedback.. There will be an update.
Do you have a photo of the open airbrakes on the 20? Ideally showing them from the front and the rear.
Also a picture showing the handles with the canopy closed. I think they go something like this?
Either post here, or send via Nico.

Re: ASW20 COTASA Settings
the String to add in COTASA
ASW20=280,150,375,525,60,L,70,4,80,3,110,2,130,1
ASW20=280,150,375,525,60,L,70,4,80,3,110,2,130,1
Re: ASW20 COTASA Settings
the third value is the dry-mass (not fixed ballast)
the speed-ring for the ASW20 has been defined for club-class, i.e. no ballast, this means that the speed values you indicate do not correspond to 525=MTOW, but 340
The correct string is :
ASW20=280,150,340,525,60,L,86,4,97,3,133,2,162,1
I've been busy today, I'll post all the updates this afternoon
