Do you think that the corona virus will have a positiv or negativ impact on the Release rate of planes? Because if the effect would be Positiv the Virus would at least have a positiv impact on something relatet to soaring.

Hey OXO why not the ASW20 with winglets and retractable tailwheel  . Doesn't she look sexy 😍 .... No, no I'm just kidding. Do as you think it is right. We will like to fly the ASW anyway👍🏻
UUUUhhhhh-laa-laaaaaaaaa, SEXY GIRL - what a beauty!!!

And your "Lindner" winglets (that seem to have undergone some kind of very charming mutation) make a hell of a difference, both in the looks and in the behaviour - as I happen to know.

Here's another one, waiting p-p-p-p-patiently - for any version of the glider with the most beautiful nose of overall :D

Sorry if sounding like the smart-ass...
Schleicher didnt use the "A" for the first version, so it's a ASW 20. The evolutions were called ASW 20B and ASW 20C, with a L attached for the wing extensions. LS chose another approach: Their evolutions of the LS 4 were the LS 4A and LS 4B. I dont know what is the better way, but I dont think it helps if we just make up designations that dont exist.

Theres a reason we dont do old planes with aftermarket winglets..

Its hard enough to get the performance and handling of the std plane right, without the extra distraction of winglets.

Same goes for modified profiles, adding bump tape to planes which didnt have it originally etc..

And can we please agree on not using the word "old", but maybe "matured" instead? It's only because of the stab I feel everytime I hear something this unrespectful.

If there is something I can help with (and that doesnt need actually going to the glider) - please let me know.

Damn right - and just as I wrote (or at least as I meant)... unless you want to count my missing dashes.

Anyway, we are patiently and happily awaiting the ASW 20B - hoping that in the first delivery will be enough pieces for all of us

"OXO - OXO - OXO - ..."
"La olá" going all around the stadium.
I'm already lovin' it.

Geeeeee... that pic makes me think about adding this (never missed) detail to my lady
Next chance I start a research on our airfield, for Bs or Cs - and maybe, as a new project, fetch this part for a copy.

I think in real life the flap lever stands more vertical than horizontal, as you can see in the picture

Wow, another remarkable difference to the first version. I know the lever upright and when new to the model or not careful you push it to the inside, it comes loose from the resting hole and due to the spring forces in the aileron-flap-mixer accelerates and crashes into the far back position. Not what you want to hear again. Sure ergonomics is better too, during a long flight.

Hi OXO,

Is the window in the canopy on the asw 20 going to be improved ? because in the asw 19 it looks bad especially the screws are very bad,
maybe you can copy the window of the ls4 ? :?

greetings from Germay
